Academy Quiz Offers auto restart half way through.
This is what I was told by the Owners of the AQ offers could be the issue...
i can only reproduce the results on the browser that i have the form filler on. Here are the changes that i found the form filler make to get it to work better & interferes with our quiz functionality.
Firefox - the form fillers changes the "tools - options - advanced - network connection - changes these settings ----> should be auto detect settings. otherwise the user has to restart the quiz again to get it to set the cookie properly for some reason.
Internet Explorer -- tools - options - privacy - should be set to accept all cookies or they need to put our site in their exceptions section. but we have several sites we are running this quiz thru to keep it running smoothly. so they would need to look at the browser bar to tell which quiz they are on.
Internet Explorer - tools - security - "enable protected mode" should not be checked for our quiz to function properly
The quiz flows properly for most people, unless they have made changes to the browser or they are not accepting cookies or they are in protected mode. We can only control the quiz flow, not the browsers or settings on the users computer, as this is beyond our control. These quizes are getting completed & do credit the users, they just have some compatibility issues with the way some users have their browsers setup & how secure a user has their computer ( ie cookie settings). We have to set a cookie.
this is a link to the tech support on our computer. It has detailed info on this. The problem could also be that their anti virus program is deleting the cookies from their computer. Please have them whitelist the websites that our quiz is located on & see if that solves the problem. We will try to get our coder to look into this further, but he has told us multiple times that this is an issue with the settings on the users computers & not the quiz script. We have no control over the users browser setups & all we can do is advise them of the changes to make if they are having problems with the quiz.
